I created a Portal account as the parent/legal guardian. How do I make sure the applicant is able to sign agreements?

Unfortunately, the email address used for the Portal account and for the legal guardian contact cannot be the same. 

You can update the email address in Login.Gov or update the preferred email in the Profile section of Portal to the applicant’s email.
