Before beginning your MyJobCorps application, make sure you’re prepared by completing the following steps:

  • Set up a valid email address (if you don't have one).
    You’ll need it to create your Portal account, submit your application, and receive important updates about your application status.
  • Talk it over with a parent or guardian (if you’re under 18).
    It’s a big decision, and it helps to have support and guidance as you explore your options.
  • Start gathering important documents.
    You don’t need them to submit an application, but having items like your birth certificate or Social Security card handy can make the next steps smoother.
  • Learn about Job Corps:
    Visit jobcorps.gov to explore training programs, campus life, and the kinds of support you can expect while you’re enrolled.
