How do I disclose a disability or request a reasonable accommodation?

  • Updated

Job Corps provides reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities to ensure equal access to the program and the admissions process. A reasonable accommodation may include support such as an interpreter, assistance reading or completing the application, or other adjustments based on your needs.

If you need an accommodation during the admissions process, you should inform your Admissions Representative as soon as possible so appropriate support can be arranged.

Disclosing a disability is voluntary. However, applicants who are 24 years of age or older will be asked to answer disability-related questions as part of the eligibility and admissions process.

If you have questions about accommodations or disability disclosure, your Admissions Representative can provide guidance and explain how the information is used.
